General Requirements
a. The Supervision Engineer (SE) warrants that it and the SE Staff shall exercise the professional level of skill, care and diligence that may be expected of an engineer experienced in providing services similar to the services in relation to projects of a similar size, scope and complexity in the performance of the services.
b. The SE will comply with any applicable decree, resolution, law, statute, act, ordinance, rule, directive (to the extend having the force of law), order, final non-appealable judgment directly applicable to the SE, treaty, code or regulation (including but not limited to any of the foregoing relating to health and/or safety matters or any environmental law) or any interpretation of the foregoing, as enacted, issued or promulgated by any governmental instrumentality that is publicly available and published or which the SE has or reasonably should have knowledge, including amendments, modifications, extensions, replacements or re-enactments thereof and the terms and conditions of this agreement.
c. The SE shall be responsible for all and any documents prepared by it or on its behalf in connection with the services; and no approval, certification, payment and/or rejection by the Employer & Main Contractor and/or on its behalf shall in any way limit in any way SE’s obligations/liabilities.
d. The SE shall without any delay notify Main Contractor of any anticipated or actual problems, issues or concerns involving the services and the project (in particular but not limited to any which may affect the scope, cost or duration of the services) and shall make prompt recommendations with respect thereto.
e. The SE staff shall be suitably qualified and experienced to perform the Services. The Main Contractor’s approval of any SE staff shall not relieve the SE from any of his responsibilities, obligations and/or liabilities under this agreement. During the term of this Agreement it shall be at the Main Contractor’s sole discretion to require changes in the SE staff assigned to provide services, if in the opinion of the Main Contractor such SE staff are not performing their duties or the services in the best interest of the project.
f. The SE shall not replace any SE staff without the prior consent of the Subcontractor and the Main Contractor.
g. All reports required to be produced by the SE as part of the services shall be addressed to the Main Contractor with a copy of each report provided to the subcontractor.

      Cathodic Protection Technicians

Qualification - Shall be qualified to NACE CP Tester level (or equivalent).

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties include but not limited to:

a) DCVG Surveys on pipelines in the Gas Operations

b) Conventional cathodic protection works such as potential, voltage and current measurements at test points, current drainage sources, continuity bonds, cross bonds, insulating joints and other cathodic protection hardware either as part of routine surveys or troubleshooting.

2-    Construction Supervisors

Qualification - Instrumentation Engineer

Experience: The candidate shall have seven (7) years experience, three (3) of which at

supervisory level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties include but not limited to:

a) Assistance to CLIENT for detailed site survey to finalise design inputs of various in-house projects and PCRs.

b) Monitor site activities and progress of contractors in terms of timely  completion and adherence to standards.

c) Occasionally act as performing authority, as and when required for Construction works in sensitive areas.

d) Co-ordinate and monitor construction, tie-in or testing activities and  confirm being performed according to required standards and specifications.
